Trunk or Treat
This Halloween event was run by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. We drove our robots around delivering candy to trick or treaters.
Adopt-A-Family
During this event, we purchased toys and gifts for families in need. 2017 marked our second year doing "Adopt-a-Family"
Shoe Drive
We collected over 1,000 pairs of shoes for people in need. We were also able to give our school's JROTC club shoes for their PT testing.
Rock n Roll Marathon
At the 2017 Rock & Roll marathon we manned 3 hydration stations on the Elvis mile, handing out Gatorade to the runners.
Opportunity Village
During both Halloween and Christmas, we volunteered at Opportunity Village's magical/haunted forest. At the forest, we helped attendees enter rides and sell concessions.
Summer Camp
Every summer, we host a robotics summer camp to teach students in grades K-8 the fundamentals of robotics and about STEAM education. At the end of the camp, we host a mini-competition that shows the students how fun robotics can be.
Back to Supply Drive
Near the end of summer, we displayed our Steamworks robot to get students excited about the upcoming school year.
Las Vegas Science Festival
At the start of summer, we displayed our Steamworks robot at the festival to teach kids about STEAM education and allowed them drive it.
Haunted House
In mid-October, we transformed our lab into a haunted house for our community.
